We currently use G4L to image our machines before we put them out on the floor. It looks like Acronis has the same functionality in a Emergency Restore Disk.

Do I need to buy a license for each machine I use the restore disk on or do I need to just buy one license since I am only using it on one machine at a time and never installing the full product on these machines.

The licencing from Acronis requires that you purchase a seperate licence for each machine that the program will be installed on, or the rescue media used on.

If you have more than a few (whatever that is) contact Acronis sales and see what price break they might give you.
