    Please help me with the folowing;

    We are using Acronis True Image Echo Workstation, I've created rescue boot disk to make en restore backups. De back up of a PC is on a removable USB hard drive and on a network computer. I can either restore the backups from the network computer or from the USB romovable harddrive. This way of making en restoring backups in our organisation is working fine so far on all of our computers.
    Recently we receive some new different computers. A HP compaq DC 7800 Small Form Factor with Intel Core 2 Duo E6550 processor, with SATA 160 GB samsung harddisk and a SATA DVD/CD player.
    When I boot this computer with the Acronis rescue CD, it shows the Acronis menu. This is working fine and the booting process form CD works properly, However when the computer has started from the boot CD and when i choose an option, the PC stops working and is shutting down. When i re - reboot the same problem occurs. Thisproblem occurs on all the new computers and ive tried diffent boot CD's

    Even when i create the acronis secure zone on this computers (boot with F11 works fine, but when i choose acronis true image echo workstation, full version) the computer is shutting i what looks like a kinda sleep mode
    When i use the powerbutton the pc is shutting down completely.

    Please help

    Hello larroque,

    Thank you for choosing Acronis Remote Workstation Disk Backup Software.

    Please try booting with "acpi=off noapic" parameter as it is described in Acronis Help Post.

    If the issue persists, please collect some information to let us investigate it thoroughly:

    Please create Windows system information and Linux system information (sysinfo.txt) as it is described in Acronis Help Post.

    If you are not able to create Linux system information (sysinfo.txt) then please do the following:

    - Boot your computer from Acronis Bootable Rescue Media and press F11 key when the selection screen advising you to select either "Full", "Safe" or "Boot into Windows" option appears.
    - After you get the "Linux kernel command line" prompt, remove the word "quiet", click on the OK button and choose "Full Version".

    When the screen stop scrolling please write down the output information you receive (last 5-10 lines), or use a digital camera to make shots of the output screen. You can use Shift+PgUp and Shift+PgDn keys to scroll the screen manually.

    Then submit a request for technical support. Attach all the collected files and information to your request along with the step-by-step description of the actions taken before the problem appears and the link to this thread. We will investigate the problem and try to provide you with a solution.

    Thank you.
