Acronis Disk Director Suite has not found any hard disk drives

    I have not used Disk Director Suite since I set up my disk partitions some months ago. Now, when I went to check a partition, I could not get into the program. The above message appeared and I was locked out. The same with Disk Editor.

    The only change I can think of since I partitioned the drives is that I have changed from XP Home to XP Pro.

    Can anyone help me with this problem? I saw a similar problem described in attempting to use the program from a CD, but I am using a version installed on a hard drive.

    Thank you for choosing Acronis Partition and Disk Managing Software.

    First of all please download the latest build (553) of Acronis Disk Director Suite 9.0. In order to get access to updates you should register account on our site (or just log in if you have already created it) and then register your copy of the product.

    Then if the latest build doesn't help please install the below update with disabled logging and see whether the problem persists.

    If the problem does persist, please enable logging by running the update once more, reproduce the program failure and send the c:\snapapi.log file to support@acronis.com along with the link to this thread.
