Acronis Antimalware CD

    I tried it out last night. The GUI layout is just like the BitDefender Rescue CD.

    It shows a license key and that it is a 30 day Trial. In the "Tips" it said something about being able to obtain a new lifetime license key for the Acronis Antimalware CD if you have a current Acronis license.

    Since it is obviously "BitDefender", I will just use the BitDefender Rescue CD.

    So it's paid software after all. Lost interest.

    Same, here.
    Rescue/Live CDs must be Freeware. ;)

    Bitdefender rescue disc is free but Acronis not.

    Most customers in the street have no idea. They know Acronis, Symantic etc., but they have probably never heard of Bitdefender. Personally, I am reluctant to use the Bitdefender CD, because it deletes all "malware" it encounters without asking. At least it used to that a year ago.
