When doing a restore with Acronis 2009 I find that all of my Microsoft Office programs do not load. I am asked to insert the CD to load. This is a bug,as it does not save an exact image. We have found this to happen on our other computers.

Hmm, that is a bad bug. ....I have ATI Home v11 and it works fine (without any Windows conflict).

Hi ... I'm curious to know as to whether Acronis is aware of this problem ? And if Acronis would be so kind to address this issue with a fix some time soon ?

Someone said that Acronis was using buyers of TI 2009 as beta testers. I think that's generous. When Office won't restore, that's something that should have been discovered and corrected during alpha testing.

I can't recommend True Image to anyone. What a pity!

    Hello all,

Thank you for using Acronis True Image

Please exclude *.bak extension from the default exclusions during a backup operation. This will help to overcome the issue.

    Thank you.
