While loading XP on my laptop (with my USB device installed), I accidentally deleted the partition of my USB :'( . Is there a way to get back the material I had on there?

Thanks to anyone that can help me.

I pulled out an old copy of Norton System Works 2002 and it's scanning as I write this. At least it recognized that it had no partition and asked me if it should rebuild it. I hope it works. I'll let you know and thanks for your previous help.

Well, that didn't work. It scanned all the USB device and didn't find any DOS partition on it.

    Hi Wil,

    Thanks for your previous help.
I think my current concern has turned to getting the USB (PNY Attache, 2 Gig) to actually work. No computer can actually format it. The PC sees it when I plug it in but can't view info on or format it. When I try to view it, it keeps saying to put a disk in. Did I delete something on the USB that is required for Windows to have?
Went to PNY's site but didn't find anything that would help.
I guess I can post a question with their tech support.
Have you heard of anything like this?

    Thanks,

    Loukas

No, I don't have experience with PNY devices. They do have a toll-free support number.
