? about spywareblaster

    [flash=200,200][/flash] hi i have windows xp home. and i was wondering can i use adaware wiv this programme. also every time i log on to my pc do i have to keep hitting protect all with all the checkmarks in the boxes or do i only do this once. and i dont see spyblaster running in taskbar so is this right as well.

    the checked boxes are the ones that you are protected from. you should only need to hit the protect button after you get an update and if it shows anything in red not checked then hit protect and you should be set. The program does not run in the task bar. This might not be a complete answer but it is basically it .

    Hi computerman,

    Yes, bigc gave you the answer on protection. You do not need to run or start SpywareBlaster every time you log on to your system. Once you have set the protection, you only need to run SpywareBlaster occasionally (say, once a week) to check for additions to the protection database. Otherwise, SpywareBlaster does not need to be run to have it protecting your system.

    And, yes, you can run SpywareBlaster with Ad-Aware and/or Spybot S&D without any problem!
