    Hi all,

I've run Ad-Aware, HiJack This, SpyBot S&D, Super Geek, CWShredder and Norton. It seems that Ad-Aware finds most 'registry keys, values, and files, and of course, I delete them.

I've run all, then rebooted into 'safe mode', and ran a norton scan (in depth) along with an Ad-Aware (in depth) and the results were pretty much clean.

Within a day, the 'search page' hijacker was back. Of course I was notified of a 'change in IE page', and asked if I wanted to allow or not. I chose not, and it worked.....temporarily. It has returned over and over again.

Someone else suggested that since I am running Windows XP pro, XP has a 'system restore', and I might be 'saving the hijacker' in there, so I 'turned off' system restore, and did the complete scans again, within the 'safe mode'.

Ran all my other programs again, and still, the hijacker returns.

I'm listing below my page copied from HiJack This with the hopes that someone out there will know what I should do do finally rid myself of this hijacker once and for all.

Many thanks, and if you wish to directly email me, my addy is scolnik1@comcast.net
