Words do come easy to me. Behold, a review of AbiWord, a free, cross-platform, open-source word processor, including look & feel, fonts, styles, plugins, collaboration tools, format support and portability, various workflow issues, and more. Take a looksie.

As always, a nice thorough review. But, as mentioned, it does seem as if it's a little like me - "a killer set of features in 2009, just an ordinary list of options and tools in 2018".

I've used AbiWord on Windows and Ubuntu for years. It's my main word processor. It has its shortcomings, but I really like it. I have Open Office on Windows, which I've also used for over a decade. Between them I've never needed MS Office.
