    I've read this in several articles.

    None suggest what what the infection modality might be:
    - Infected garage diagnostic machines?
    - Systems such as GM's OnStar Network?

    It wouldn't be that far fetched to suggest that the car diagnostics might sprout Bluetooth interfaces...

    If they did then they might be infected by people walking past on the street, it would give rise to a new pasttime "War Walking" :)

    You would see the techno-geeks get beeped by a car as they didn't look before crossing the road... after the startled look passed the pda/phone would be taken off the belt and aimed at the car

    The car's front and back windscreens would of course immediately turn blue as the operating system crashed, quickly followed by the rest of the car

    [sigh, I must be bored...]
