After a couple of days, not to mention QUITE a few hours, of perusing the entire Wilders Forum in reference to a varirty of problems I've been having, as well as posting my woes  and getting WONDERFUL responses and helpful suggestions :D ...a thought has occurred to me! Most, if not all, of the directions of running scans in "Safe Mode" in order to safely clean your machine, have never mentioned whether or not one should first turn off their internet connection. Being anal (as i am often accused of being  ) I always do. Here is the question (finally!). Is it better to do so, or does it even matter? I have never seen a reference to this item.

    Thanking ALL in advance!! :-*

Unless you use safemode with networking you shouldn't have to worry as I don't believe your modem or network card is supported in standard safemode.
