If I made a full backup under build 903, then an incremental under 903, then I upgraded to 937, can I make new incrementals? Or do I have to make a new full image with the new version?

    Thanks,
    Tim

    The change history shows:

Last available update: build #937, 2005-08-09.
    Changes:
    Acronis True Image mounter updated
Added support for Broadcom SATA RAID controller
    GUI fixes
    Better hardware support

Being a build, rather than a new version, would also imply that nothing too drastic has changed, particularly the file format of the image file.

So it should work - try it.

Thanks, guys. I suppose if I try it and its successful, then I run an image check and its successful, everything should be okay. If not, I just make a new full image.

    Hello all,

Thank you for choosing Acronis Disk Backup Software.

Please be aware that the images created using older builds of Acronis True Image 8.0 are fully compatible with any of the newer builds of Acronis True Image 8.0 and can be restored without a problem, so there is no need to create new full or incremental backups after installing the update.

If you have any further questions please feel free to ask.

    Thank you.
