    Why was the AT vs AV thread closed?

    Could it be what the AT and AV vendors got what they want, “Don't discuss the future of our business”. Ahh, censorship at its finest.

    I'm surprised you didn't delete the whole thread. That would have made them even more happy.

    Actually, you're reading too much into that. In this case, there was a nasty reply made at the end of the thread which had to be removed. When it was, the thread was accidentally closed. When we close a thread on purpose, we reply with a note that says why. The reason there wasn't a reply there stating a reason was that that thread wasn't meant to be closed. Sorry. :oops:

    It's reopened now.
