Probably a dumb question, but here goes.

I've been saving my FULL DISK images to an external USB HDD which is formatted as FAT32. I have 2 computers as follows:

    1. Dell Dim 8300 with a small FAT16 partition and the XP NTFS partition. If I do a restore, will the restored images be given their original formatting (FAT16 and NTFS)?

    2. An IBM R40 laptop, dual boot. It has a win98se FAT32 partition, a data FAT32 partition and an XP NTFS partition. Same question as above - under a restore, will all the partitions be given their original formatting?

    Thanks,
    Harvey

If you created a complete image of all partitions on your hard drive, then the answer is yes to both questions.
