a quick guide to getting Macrium Reflect working with Kaspersky

I'm using Macrium Reflect
its great but has problems with Kaspersky 2009
"Backup Aborted! - write operation failed -the process cannot access the file because it is being used by another process."
here's a guide to help that:



(kaspersky, settings, threats and exclusions, trusted zone, exclusion rules)
add reflect.exe and reflectservice.exe to exclusion rules

and next tab "trusted applications"

add both reflect.exe and reflectservice.exe
(c:\program files\Macrium\Reflect\reflect.exe)
(c:\program files\Macrium\Reflect\reflectservices.exe)

double click and tick top 2 boxes on both
ie "do not scan open files", and "do not monitor application activity"
