A new Feedback portal is coming so that those who love to give Microsoft a piece of their mind will have the ability to do so in a more modern form factor. The portal is going to enter preview by the end of 2021 and will support feedback for Microsoft 365 as well as Edge. Windows will be added at some point in 2022, though an exact date or even general quarter estimate was not provided.

This news comes from a tweeted screencap (via ZDNet). The Feedback portal announcement is listed in full within the tweet, giving info on not only what products are going to be included in 2021 and beyond (as listed above) but also details on items such as language support. English will be the only language the new Feedback portal is equipped for at its start, but more languages will be added as time goes on.

Microsoft launches preview of Teams feedback portal, makes it easy to vote/ track new features, and more

Microsoft has announced that a preview of the feedback portal for Microsoft Teams is now available. Based on the company's own Dynamics 365 Customer Service tool, the new portal is one of the ways Microsoft hopes to collect feedback from Teams users after it was originally announced back on October 8.

According to Microsoft, this new portal will allow users to submit their own feedback and view other submitted ideas. The new portal also makes it easy to track Microsoft responses, see top-voted ideas, and upvote the feedback from other users. You'll even be able to easily track your favorite ideas through the ‘star’ icon and receive notifications when your own ideas are responded to by Microsoft.

They could use some feedback on Edge. It actually seemed promising until they started trying to force it at every turn. I might be more interested in using it if they didn't want me to use it so badly.

Today Microsoft announced a preview of Feedback for Microsoft 365 apps and services.

Built on Dynamics 365 Customer Service, Feedback is a place where users can go to provide feedback on Microsoft 365 apps and services in one place. From Feedback, users can submit new feedback for the community or participate in existing feedback by voting for feedback that matches their own or comment on existing topics.

Starting today, the preview of Feedback is available for Microsoft 365 apps and services and Microsoft Edge, and will be available later for Windows and other products.

Users can access the Feedback portal whether they’re on a desktop or mobile device, irrespective of a particular device or form factor. Users can also continue sending feedback from within apps where it is available.
