a Firewall question

Hi, I was going to include as one of the wishes for future ESS releases, but instead I decided to ask it as a question, since Inbound protection is already included in ESS and it has some IDS... Wil Eset update the rules for it's IDS?? I mean will it include new tipes of attacks or intrussions in the way the old kerio did with it Snort Rules?? Could those rules be updated to include new forms of inbound attacks??
I believe this could make a great difference between ESS and all other firewalls out there.
