I have a few quick questions, please don't move this because I don't want it to take days to be answered because of it being in a dead forum area.

These questions are for Appdefend and Regdefend. What are the feature-limited freeware versions? Do they nag? Are they still good enough at protection, or is it only worth it if you buy them?

    regdefend:
    appdefend:

(for the beta) nothing is disabled just a time trial with the nag pop-ups. when it goes final then it will have a limited free mode.

Obviously there's fully free alternatives to Appdefend (PG, SSM free) but are there free alternatives to Regdefend?

u can try MJ Registry Watcher but afaik, it polls the registry whereas RegDefend hooks into the registry.

That is very limited. Not real time. No rules also.
