    Hello Eset.

I've just visited virusradar.com and I searched these viruses from 1980's called CBrain, Denzuko, Michael Angelo, but seems like they're not in the list.
Does ESS detect these threats? o_O

    Thanks.

As you can see, the update history is traced since 2008. Older signatures are not listed there.

So, it means ESS is vulnerable to these old viruses, isn't it? :(
Is there any effort from Eset to update its signature database also to the year before 2008?

    Thanks.

No it does not, only a very small fraction of all the threats is listed on virusradar.com, and ESET doesn't create a description for every threat that's being added to the database, since that would be impossible to keep up with.

Threat before 2008 is in the database, only that they're not listed on the description website.

And FYI, I am not aware of any threat from the 80's that's actually active still today, so don't worry about them :D
