    Back then with the ILOVEYOU, I changed my system to keep the ability to run scripts, but to avoid running automatically by changing the default action so that they opened in Notepad rather than executing something.

    With all these avenues its hard on users who are not clued up

    If I don't recognize the sender, I don't open the email and treat it as trash, no matter what is mentioned in the subject, like "I love you", "You won $100,000,000", ...
    Why would I trust or even pay attention to an unknown person, who stole my email-address or my first name. That is unlogical for me.
