4x install phoning home

    Eset,

    MSI installer tried to report NOD32 4x installation to microsoft 65.55.87.49.

    Is that something you're aware of?

    Not an uncommon practice for MSI. I believe it is checking to see if the software is MS signed.

    I as a rule of thumb block MSI when it requests Internet access while running any install. Have never had a problem.
