    Hey, Linuxforall.

    For a couple of weeks I tried out Peppermint One (an Ubuntu variant). Very nice. Peppermint actually inspired me to create my own Ubuntu variant. I started by doing an Ubuntu minimal install using the 10.04.1 alternate CD. I use PekWM as the window manager, Thunar as the file manager, and iDesk as the Desktop manager. You really don't need a panel manager with PekWM (has a right-click menu) but I use one anyways (lxpanel). Runs real light.
