3 year license renewal. Trusted reseller?

Hello everyone,

My license is due to expire early in the new year and I would like to renew it with a 3 year license. I really wish they would offer a lifetime license.

The reseller (betterantivirus.com) I purchased my previous license from only sells one and two year renewal licenses. I asked about the possibility of buying a 3 year license and they told me that ESET do not offer a 3 year renewal.

It would appear that a 3 year license could only be obtained by purchasing a new standard license instead which would be more expensive.

I searched the web for further information and found that ESET offer a 3 year renewal license although it is quite expensive at £53.50.

Further searching revealed a reseller by the name of virus-cure.com offer this same license at a rather attractive price of £43.33.

Is this price to good to be true? Does anyone have any experience or knowledge about this company? Can they be trusted?

I was told by my US reseller (who was told by an ESET rep) that they do not offer a 3 year license, PERIOD.

That's all I've got .

 

This must mean that the length of a renewal license is dependent on which continent you reside.

That seems odd to me.

 

As a Reseller, we do not have the ability to renew for 3-years.
Even with new licenses, the most we can offer is a 2-Year license.

 

As a reseller in the Netherlands we are able to sell 3 year licenses (both new and renewal)

 

Also if you have a NOD32 license purchased from a reseller can you only renew through the same reseller or can you use any reseller to renew?

Yes, you can renew with another reseller.

Yes, we can do (in the United States) a 3 Year Renewal (or a 3 year new license).

 

Which company offers this in the US?

We are a U.S. based reseller as well and have been since 2004. What product code are you using for a 3-year renewal license?

The only option we see is for a new single user license for 3 years.

 

Here in Australia ESET have just started offering 3 years for either new licenses
