I currently have RVS Home Lux 2010 on my WinXP Pro computer. I gather that I could upgrade to System Safe Pro 2011 for $19.97. If I were to do that, should I uninstall Home Lux first, or can I/should I install System Safe Pro 2011 on top of Home Lux 2010? And is there a way to try System Safe Pro 2011 before paying for the upgrade?

I'm not completely sure that I want System Safe Pro. The free version may give me all I need, but it's hard to tell. Does the free version provide the Virtual Disk feature (so I can create a Virtual Disk and save items to it before rebooting after using Returnil)?

    Thanks in advance.

Yes, this is valid and will retain your current licensing (you don't have to re-register post install).

Yes, the Virtual Disk is included. You will not be able to use the File Manager or the new autosave feature to save content to the real disk...

Yes, test it in a VM (VMWare, VPC, VirtualBox, etc) or on a test computer before deciding. Simply register it as a Trial and you can get a chance to kick the tires before deciding.

Thanks very much, Coldmoon, for your prompt and helpful response. Since I don't have a VM and don't really have a test computer, I guess I'll simply have to decide whether to spring for the upgrade or go with the free version. Right now I'm leaning toward the upgrade: the price is reasonable and I'd like to see what some of the new features are.

    Again, many thanks!
