2.5 Concerns

Each thread that concerns v2.5 gets closed. I agree that nothing can be done about the missed release date by us. I also agree that other companies have missed release dates. It's not that big of a deal to miss the date, but I do have a concern about the willingness to discuss the issue and allow people to express concerns (not just READ closed threads). By expressing concerns, I'm wondering what happened? Is there something really wrong with the program? I ask because I have just installed it on a notebook I'll be taking with me on a trip to Russia in a few days. I've read all the posts on how wonderful the Beta version is, and all the glowing remarks it got, but I'm wondering if I should just stick with the official version instead?
