Now that's a good opportunity. I've been using edX for sometime now. Extremely useful. :thumb:

Hey guys, got an email from eDX today - thought anyone interested in this course should see it. Not "as good" as I first thought.

    ~EDIT~
    Basically, my understanding is ---
They want you to pay $250 for them to verify the certificate. Otherwise you will get a certificate, however no proof that its yours.

    Introduction To Linux Course:

Ways to take this edX course

Audit this course for "FREE" and have complete access to all of the course material, tests,
and the online discussion forum. You decide what and how much you want to do.

    Or:

Plan to use your completed coursework for job applications, promotions or school
applications? Then you may prefer to work towards a verified Certificate of Achievement
to document your accomplishment.(Minimum fee required. see details)

Anyone know how these courses work?
Can you pace it depending on your available time?
Can you start at any time and how long will it be available?
