I noticed this on the KL forum. It is from the UK and I do not know if US folks are eligible. If so it is a good deal.
They seem to have some trouble getting it done, but one might try if he needs/wants the 180 days of KIS.

Does this mean that they send the trial key only on the first of august? That it is too late now?
My english isnt that good, I interpret "from 1st August 2007" that the promotion starts 1st august and continues until they close the trial site...or remove the text that promises a free trial key when they dont offer it anymore. But maybe I think wrong here and wish they would take offers that are not valid anymore away :)

I registered and got the link for the trial, downloaded it but havent got a key (yet)
ah well..I´ll wait and see what happens....

Although I don't have a use for it at present, I registered and may find someone that missed it, and needs it. I wish I could get my son to try it.

Now for the Tweaky key discussion to see if we get the key.:D

    Regards,
    Jerry

No key arrived here either :(. I was looking forward to trying this product. If anyone hears anything, let us know.

edit: Can someone please verify that the file size is 22.6MB? My ISP throttles downloads at 20MB and FF was acting funny. I just want to be sure I got all of the download. Thank you.

This is from Kaspersky.I don't know why "other" was included. Please note that the 180-day license offer for Kaspersky Internet Security v7 is only open to residents of UK & Ireland. :(

I'm in the UK and my key never arrived either. :(

@ Innerpeace. The download linked to in the 180 day trial E-Mail is 22.7Mb but the KIS 7 download on the Kaspersky website is 25.6Mb.

    Strange. o_O

If you don't get your key from Kaspersky, then go to the link below and you can get an activation code for 180 days within minutes. The registration form only requires a valid e-mail address, but no further info is mandatory. I got my key the moment I validated the link sent by PC Advisor. I ended up buying the magazine when I saw the coverdisk advertised, but purchasing the mag would not have been necessary had I known about this link.

    Hello Stephan123,

The link works fine for me. Perhaps, and I am only guessing, it could be related to your being located in the Netherlands.

    Best wishes

Yes, that is what should happen with the link. Once there you can register for the software.

    Hello pykko,

The activation code is valid for version 7 also.

The cover disk of PC Advisor had version 6 on it because 7 was not yet officially released in the UK when this issue of the magazine appeared. Yet, the offer always included the option to upgrade to version 7 for the duration of the 180 days. This is clearly stated on the PC Advisor software registration page to which the above quoted link directs you.

    Best wishes

Immediately after I registered, I was sent a registration email with a confirmation link. Upon confirmation I was e-mailed the activation code for the software. I just checked my e-mails and the whole process took 7 minutes.

    Best wishes

Thanks - working fine here now. Don't forget the download includes a 1 month trial so you get a total of 7 months free as long as the 6 month key is activated by 19th sept. :thumb:
