After installing Spywareblaster, I attempted to enable all protection. After closing the program and reopening, it says 1539 items (all restricted sites) have protection disabled.

Have run Spybot, Adware and Microsoft Antispyware.

    Any suggestions?

    Thanks.

Are you using a hosts file such as IESPYAD?

Probably not since I don't know what that is. I'll search the name of that program and try to learn more about it.

    Thanks.

I have the same problem. I enable all in Spyware Blaster, then access the internet, and within minutes, note a virus/adware problem. When I open up Spyware Blaster, 1539 items have been disabled. Running SpyBot, Adware, and Norton's antivirus does no good.
Have you received and good advice?
    Thank you

I am only using Spybot, Ad-Aware, and Nortons Internet Security.
I'll try reinstalling SpyWare Blaster, although I know I have a virus and/or spyware in my computer that none of the above is removing, as it still affects my Internet usage (control of home page, pop-ups, placing unwanted items on my list of favorites), and blocks my ability to open TurboTax except in safe mode.
    Thanks for the suggestions.
