100% confused about ESS Help Please

Hello Guys

I have two pc one desktop and one laptop both running xp sp2, I have never had security one my pc`s before but i got infected and my pc`s crashed.

The pc guy got so bored of fixing my pc he told me about eset and told me to buy it would be cheaper than me keep on paying him to repair it,

I have a router and i dont share files i dont think i do anyway via the two pc`s, my question is what do i select when it comes up select zone please
alow sharing/strict i am lost what one to do

i am quite new to pc`s so any help would be fantastic

if you dont network/fileshare then select strict


selecting the "allow sharing mode", will mean the other pc will be able to view any shares on your pc
if "strict" is selected then your other pc wont be able to see shares on yours
(the option can be changed at a later date if you needed)

also this doesnt affect internet funtionality/p2p, its about local (lan) sharing
