Interesting predictions. I was especially interested in the direction they see the 'Cloud' might take with AI. Not at all surprised on what they think about the future 'partnership' of Microsoft & OPENAI.

Article still open, for what it's worth.
There are about 9 AI "predictions".
As there should be given the explosive effect it's had this year.
But the expansive nature of the beast means that these predictions should perhaps be for the first quarter only.

I didn't really care for most predictions, except for the first one since I trade in Nvidia's stock on Wall Street. It will be interesting to see if Nvidia can keep up with the high expectations, I'm guessing not. Although it wouldn't surprise me it will eventually go to $600 bucks. I personally believe AI is mostly hype for now, I haven't seen any useful real world applications yet.

@Rasheed187 Graphene chips will replace silicon, moving Moores's law into the future late 20's early 30's. Listed players wall st. graphene, race to market.
IBM, Samsung, to name a few. list form Bard & traded companies, rushing ahead on. Or perhaps chip stocks graphene, new winners on the street

OK thanks, didn't know about this. I do know that some think there is a huge future in photonic chips, see first link. Second link is about a Dutch company that is active in this field, of course the big guys like ASML are already making big investments in this space. BTW, Nvidia is already at $550, just because they released a couple of new GPU and AI chips on CES 2024, completely ridiculous stuff. Sadly enough I missed the rally, I sold them at $500.

Your two links are like competing in a horse race with the graphene horse all racing toward AI. Heavy betting on Nvidia, the young untested horses unknown abilities/not tested 'real world, sell cheap. Your two horses are not widely touted, by big media, compared.

Speaking of Nvidia and this AI craziness, it's now already at $595 on Wall Street. It was mostly based on news that Meta wants to buy 350.000 Nvidia GPU's in 2024, this is just insane! I really didn't see this huge AI rally coming, I mean it's only the beginning of the year. Of course, AMD's stock is also at an all time high, since it wants to compete with Nvidia when it comes to AI chips.

Magnificent 7 AI way to go fwd: MSFT, AMZ, GOOG, AAPL, leaders with cash to make it happen, with creds, to comfort wall st. IMO. AI will/may go the way of, 'Tulip' frenzy for some. Deep pockets will survive. Always a wild ride!
