    Part 1-
Is there a way to run SOL as a stand-alone app -- without running Prevx itself?

If not, is it possible to run Prevx with everything turned off EXCEPT for SOL?

    Part2-
If answer to both of the above questions is "No", then here is a follow-up question . . .

BACKGROUND: Since I maintain a series of "clean images" of my hard drives, I do not need any other cleaning ability. If Prevx-free discovers an infection, I simply restore an image.

QUESTION: Does Prevx-paid offer any advantages over Prevx-free other than cleaning ability?

You can disable rootkit detection and MBR scanning, and leave the infection monitoring feature.

It sure would be great to be able only to use SOL, though.

Paid blocks infections, non-paid just notifies.

I'd say that for those of us using imaging/snapshot utilities then there's no real advantage since upon detection we can roll back to a clean state anyway.

Sure you can roll back = :thumb: but if for "some" reason you had a KL installed by stealth or trickery an app like PSOL could prevent your info etc being stolen = :thumb: Imaging/Snapshots Sandboxes/Virtualisers etc on their own will NOT totally protect you = :thumbd:

Of course that's right.I was commenting that there's no real benefit to having the paid version of Prevx when malware removal can be easily achieved by restoring a 'pre-infected' image. The facebook version of SOL offers a very useful layer of protection IMO.
