I have Spybot, Adware, AVG, AntiVir installed in the system. Are there any other?

Should be freeware stuff, less sys resources.....

You can install the very good antivirus avast! Home Edition, with the ewido (anti-malware) free edition for on-demand scanner, and the Microsoft Antispyware, Spybot and Ad-aware for check spyware... ;)

All of them are freeware...

Each one has different capabilities. On my system, I rely on them in the following order:

1) Kaspersky Anti-virus
2) Ewido licensed
3) BOClean licensed (real-time only)
4) TDS-3 licensed
5) Trojan Hunter licensed
6) A-squared Personal Free

there is no best antitrojan all i can say is use more than one like i do.

personally i use

firefox
Kaspersky antivirus pro -with realtime protection
zonealarm pro 5.5
spywareblaster
spybot-search & destroy- with tea timer
adaware se
microsoft antispyware- with realtime protection
ewido free
a2 free
Trojan Remover-trial
and i am trying the trial of Trojan Remover

i think that this is all u need i don't believe u need any more security product i think i am prodected against everything who here think my security i use as u see above is good
very good
excellent

who here thinks i need anything else is this good enough or i could use something elseo_O

are there any other free scanner that i could use

pls tell me wat u think

10. Here's where you can get Pest Patrol for free. This is the full version not a limited trial version. <Removed for review> But you better grab it while you can it may not last too much longer.

It has a real time memory scanner that will block trojans in real time. This is the only way I know of to have a real time trojan scanner for free.

But it's best to back up Pest Patrol with Ewido (free) and A2 (free) for even more trojan protection, even though they are only really on-demand scanners.

I suggest you to add to your protection the HOSTS File Manager that use the MVPS Hosts file ;)

I would prefer to run the MS AntiSpyware instead of the TeaTimer...
You can also check the free and great WinPatrol ;)

If you use the active protection of MS AntiSpyware and TeaTimer at the same time, it's a redundant protection...

WinPatrol is an Anti-Mysteryware, i.e., when a program wants to add to the windows startup list, services, IE plugins, schedule task, change the program that will open some file, hosts file, Hijack, WinPatrol will alert you and you decide what do you want...
So this prevent that some file, like Spyware, Trojan, etc... runs without your knowledge, and this program doesn't need signature updates... ;)

I don't know any conflit that WinPatrol origin to another program... ;)

19. Here's a good comparison between MSAS, Spybot + Tea Timer, SpywareGuard, SpywareBlaster and WinPatrol to help you know what areas each program protects on your computer. I think you'll find it helpful and interesting. http://www.dozleng.com/updates/index.php?pg=redundant

MSAS doesnt supprt my OS...... :(

BTW so then it will be redundant if all these softwares are installed on the start up, isnt it? I have Spybot S&D on startup only or shouldnt I enable the startup option for other softwares?

o_O
