    Cool good news.

I wonder how this will be rolled out for licensed users like myself? o_O

Since this is a major upgrade, the following rules would apply:

The product and all its modifications will be delivered via Internet download.
Prices include all updates and program upgrades during the license period.

Generally this is a push update/upgrade. Akin to receiving definitions, just bigger. ;) If one has Perform program component upgrade if available checked in the update module or Notify before program component upgrade, then it will be automatic (the latter will require permission to apply).

Will a restart of the computer be necessary after automatic upgrade?

Is that really a big deal jay?

Given the fact that you're installing a new version, I'm sure you will.

Hope the new release version works as well for me as the 2.12.3 version I have had since I started with Nod32 last September. I don't think I have had one serious glitch since getting automatic updates to work (and they do that seamlessly). I don't know whether to be excited or scared!

Be excited, this new version is very stable and a nice improvement.

    Cheers :D

    An actual job?

And we all thought you spent half the day on the beach and the other half hanging out here at Wilders to bring comfort and solace to the rest of us.

Seriously, your advice on the extra settings will be welcomed and much appreciated by all.

    Elray ;)

Yes, saw this announcement in the other thread, and am looking forward to it, given how good the beta is.

Also looking forward to "Blackspear's NOD32 Tweak-fest". :ninja:

I think he lives in an Island with a Wi-Fi network, drinking cocoa water. :D

No, he's selling NOD32 and helping people buying their first computer with the BEST antivirus/antispyware program.

    Best Regards,

    DonKid.

    It must be ;)

I haven't had any such problem with any of the beta's.

This problem was already mentioned in other beta topic...

I use only a Visual Style and have this problem...

You can try the VS from here: ClassicX
But you have to patch a file to use VS without having others programs, like StyleXP.
Download for patch here: Neowin UXTheme Multi-Patcher

Hmmm ... that's strange I have patched my uxtheme.dll to use unsigned visual styles, and I don't experience this at all.

Added screen shot showing use of an unsigned visual style

It's a problem of ATI Catalyst drivers which seem to suffer from an issue with XP styles. The issue can be ironed out by setting 16-bit color mode.

    Hello Marcos!

Yes, I have ATI graphics card and I have latest drivers. I hope that ATI will fix this bug.

Have you restarted the machine or at least NOD32 Control Center?
