After not receiving help from technical support I thought i would post my questions here:

    1) At various times, application filtering is greyed out and no applications are listed.
    2) I have my program set with password, at one point it reset to unabled
    3) I had automatic start set which was changed to "none"

I'm running WinXP, SP 2, wireless laptop, linksys router, Look n Stop with Enhanced ruleset, NAV2005, and Spyseeper.

Can someone also explain the following log entries as well?

    Rule Type Address Addtional

    all other IGMP IGMP.MCAST.NET Data:148 4 0 0
    packets

    UDP:any UDP 224.0.0.251 Ports 5353 Src 5353
    other UPD

The second entry seems to pop up whenever I launch iTUNES for my iPOD.

    Thanks in advance!

    Hello!

Did you try the "Fast technical support for registered users" mail on LnS webpage?
As for your problems: had you used any firewall before you installed LnS? If yes, did you properly installed LnS (uninstall previous firewall, reboot, install LnS, reboot)? You may also try to search this forum for similar problems.

As for the packets: IGMP- read "configuring LnS for routers" sticky topic on this forum. UDP: probably iTunes try to find iPod?

    X.

Yes I did try technical support. Their reply was something simliar to: what is the problem? so I repeated it and never heard back from them.

I've removed Look n Stop and went back to ZoneAlarm last night.

    Thanks,!
