What exactly is this? It seems to scan the computer the same was as "Run NOD32"

Could someone explain what's the difference between them, and in what situation would I use it.

    Thanks.

Also, I did all the stuff in Blackspears "Extra Settings" topic, by enabling al lthose features, Advanced heuristics etc. Would that slow down computer performance? Because it has to do deeper scanning?

    Lol, one more thing.

Just before I was loading one of the topics and a pop up thing came up from NOD32, it had "Downloading" Attachment files etc.

WHy did it pop up? was it scanning it or something?

    Thanks.

So if I followed Blackspears extra settings guide, should I just run the NOD32 Scan? Rather than the deep scan? Because In that topic, a user said that it didn't use advanced heuristics etc.

I'm not positive on that. I always use the on demand scanner as my settings, as i said, are all set to the max.

As to your third post, look here,

The in-depth analysis scan sets everything to max is my understanding.

Jsut checked the settings for the deep scan... It leaves out Email scanning, Potential dangerous apps and dosen't set it to "Deep"

For many who have tweaked their settings, a standard scan is more "in-depth" than the in-depth button.

HOWEVER, for those who never touch their settings.... that makes it easy for them to get a fairly thorough scan. I think it was a mistaken attempt at trying to help the less geeky :)
