I installed Turbo Tax 2002 and now have C-Dilla on my system which is Win XP Pro.

I have read so many posts on this and am not sure of what to do.

Many say it writes to the MBR and cannot be gotten rid of except by low leveling the drive.

I uninstalled TT 2002, Safecast shared components, and deleted the hidden C_Dilla folder as well as any entries regarding safecast & C_Dilla in the registry.

Spybot S&D does did not even detect the spyware.

Anyone familure with this and have good information on it?

    Thanks,

    Woody

I downloaded the uninstaller for safecast and did it Thanks. I still wonder though if there are issues with the MBR.

    Howdy unholyone,

Interesting history on "Intuit".......parts 1 and 2. Looks like some latent activity there,
or maybe just some "trade secret scrambling"....decide for yourself.

If you make it back....could you please post a link to the page the uninstaller is on,
I chose not to navigate their site "java-enabled". TIA!

    GF
