Steganos AntiSpyware What do you think

Hi, i am looking around for another antispyware program as my licence has ran out to spyware doctor.

I wont be renewing it as for some reason it seems to have a problem with mcafee products.

I did think of Giant but many people have said it gives too many f/p so i am thinking of not using it.

Can i ask does anyone know if steganos antispyware is any good. They are a good well known company so i am hoping this is a good product. But dont want to waste my money if its not

I'm not overly sure about Steganos. I really haven't heard too much about the program, but doubt it's really that great. How about SpySweeper instead? It's far more well known and more trusted. http://www.webroot.com/products/spysweeper

Also don't forget the completely free route: Spybot, Ad-aware, SpywareBlaster, SpywareGuard, and IE-Spyad are a good combo, and all are totally free.

Also WinPatrol is a good free program that would go well with the other freebies. http://www.winpatrol.com

X-Cleaner (free) is helpful as well http://www.xblock.com/download-freeware.shtml

Heck, even A2 (free) will find some spyware, along with all those nasty trojans http://www.emsisoft.com/en/software/free

Steganos AntiSpyware is a licensed clone of Webroot's Spy Sweeper.
Spy Sweeper is a good program....but I will not assume that Steganos is equal to Spy Sweeper.
