Within reason what do you personally hope to get for christmas.

I will start by saying I want a new DVD burner for my comp.

    LOL ... That's exactly what I want BigC. ;)

(On a Personal note) Unfortunately, my family doesn't really celebrate the retail version of Christmas. We celebrate the Spirit of Christmas, believing that what's around the tree, is more precious than what is under the tree.

But ... I do hope Santa is listening ... and that I may be finally listed on the "Good boy dog List" :D :D

    Dear Santa,

    Merry Christmas :D

I have only one wish for christmas, One DVD burner for dog ~please~ with support for + / - / RAM ;)

    Love

    dog - *puppy*

I want more Memory for one of my PC's. I am a 'big kid" so my wants must be smaller $$. I of course will be getting the children some electronic stuff. So that is where our Christmas $$ go. However, I am looking forward to see what others here say they want. :)

I started something funny a few years ago.
To try to teach our kids the art of giving. And since we're kind of.......not rich. I take them to the (All Crap Cost A) Dollarstore and set the kids free to pick out gifts for Mom & Dad. Its pretty funny to find out what gifts they pick for us.

And remember, we HAVE TO act like its something we've always wanted and something we just love!!
Last year, Beetlejuice got a really nice, new toiletbrush!!!! I got a brand new whisk, because my kids said it would help me cook better!!! (I guess BJ needed to clean better, HA HA). Grandpa got a shoe horn. And Grandma got brand new flashlight!!
Its a lot of fun. And the kids have lots and lots of pride about the gift they picked out especially for that special person. :D

Being "not rich"--moneywise (but in other ways, we are very wealthy!!).
Its pretty easy for us to focus more on the 'spiritual' side of the holiday. Which I perfer we do, anyway. :D :D

    Happy Holidays to Everyone!!
    New Friends are a GREAT GIFT!! :D :D :D

When I lived and worked in California I made a very very good living, Then I retired and moved to Oklahoma and got bored real fast and had to open another computer repair shop to keep from going stircrazy. That was fine for about 10 years so I retired again and since then I have also learned the spiritual experience of shopping the dollar stores. Actually I have fun just looking at some of the things you can buy there. Besides you can save a bucket of money there :D I cant buy better paper towels than I get in one of the dollar stores anywhere and shurley not as cheap.

    P.S.
Glad to have you here on the forum BeetleBoss

yes, and also being healthy! ;)
When I moved I had to pack many boxes (it took me several days) gave away lots of things...for I got tired of packing and.... I realised how much easy it is to get loaded with all sorts of objects that we never use...so I don't care too much about gifts...but I love to see my friends/family members, the music, the spirit and the decorations! :)

I want toilet paper free software licenses!!!
Alternatively, I'd settle for DVD writer too (just got a cd writer... If my folks have their way, I'd have to settle for whirled peas too :ninja: )
