Hello, there have been no database updates for 4 days. This seems a little odd as I have been getting 1-2 updates almost every day for the last 2 months, is everything okay in the land of nod?

I was wondering about this too... But the Eset reseller on this Foum (Blackspear) said that everyhting was ok.

Well, let's wait until the weekend so that we for certainly will see again no update :)

Alas, Kaspersky seems the only one who is really bringing out updates per day.

While I am a reseller and if asked will tell you so, it is not my role on this forum ;) :D

You are in fact amongst many many resellers from all over the world, none of us are here to sign you up, in fact we openly point you to a Distributor or Reseller in your Country of origin if you are looking to purchase.

The role of this forum is to provide User to User help and where something gets too technical and beyond the scope of those here, we ask for Eset support, beyond their scope and they ask a developer to step in and advise them…

    Hope this helps…

    All the best...

    Cheers :D

No answer to the question and I didn't expect this answer because I really understand the function of Wilders SS ;)

I have asked the question and hope to have an answer soon.

The function of Wilders is it hosts the "Official Nod32 Support Forum" for User to User support as well it is Moderated by Eset Support staff, Eset Development staff and in fact the Head of Eset, as discussed in my previous post.

    Hope this helps...

    Cheers :D

Hey, you don't think that they deliberately held back on the updates to test the 'new' advanced heuristics do you guys? :D

Wow, guess I'm just paranoid! ;)

    Hi people,

Well I've just spoken to one of our top analysts and the simple fact is that there was no reason to send out an update because there was nothing in the frying pan that looked like it was going to kill anybody. However, today's another day, and our master chef is just putting the finishing touches to another culinary masterpiece which should keep all NOD users happy.

Dinner should be served in a short while.
    Dobru chut’.

Tee hee...... thanks! Yeah, maybe some IMONs-cream (say it quickly..... I know..... terrible, terrible! Sorry!)

I'll go away and see how the chef is doing. He won't serve it up unless it's just right.... you know how temperamental they can be.

You don't, if you don't know something, ask away.

Nod32 is sold in many ways, as in:

If you live in the USA you can purchase from www.nod32.com

Also in the USA, you could purchase instead from several major Distributors/Partners http://www.nod32.com/partners/partners.htm

If you live outside of the USA you can purchase through the country you reside in: http://www.nod32.com/home/home.htm as per screen shot.

Under each of the Distributors are Resellers of which I am one, though this is not my function on this forum. Spruiking for sales is not why Resellers and Distributors/Partners frequent this forum (in fact it is not permitted, and any form is swiftly dealt with), they do so out of their own free will and time to help others in the use of Nod32.

I hope this has cleared things up for you...

    All the best...

    Cheers :D
