    Version 8 build 774

When booting from full version of rescue cd I get the following:

    Acronis splash screen ok
No Acronis Logo in top left corner while loading
Vertical lines across whole display once menu loaded so unreadable

When booting from basic version of rescue cd everything is ok

System is a Fujitsu Siemens Scenic xD with onboard intel 810 graphics

I need to image to a usb drive which the basic cd can not do

Have seen other posts about this problem but no fix apart from fitting another graphics card. Have only just purchased Acronis and will have to return it if I can not resolve this issue.

    Can anybody please help?

I had a similar problem on a computer recently with the display being so garbled it made Acronis unusable when using the boot CD. I resolved it by adding a graphics card and using it instead of the onboard graphics connection while restoring the image. Any cheap graphics card should do and can then be taken out once the image is restored.

Just click on the upper left icon, click maximize and most of the time your troubles are over!

I too had the garbled graphics problem... it only occurred on an older PC with really crappy onboard video.

Choosing to boot into TrueImage's SAFE mode, however, worked fine. The only feature that I wanted to use that was unavailable in safemode was saving the image to a network drive as I did not have enough free space on local drives and no cd-writer avail on that PC.

The exact same version of the bootable recovery CD worked 100% on a newer dell system also using onboard video, just not as crappy :)
