    on the sofa
    well after i went to black vipers to see what i could do to make my pc faster

    yesterday nov 2nd day after i went to black vipers and config my system the following happends

    right clicking on anything causes my pc to reboot

    opening folders and highlighting an object with mouse i get rebooted

    opening a text file and installing an aplication i get reboted

    opening my computer and highlighting a cd rom that is empty i get rebooted

    opening two objects at same time i get rebooted

    Yep....if your not able to Restore back to the point just before you fubared....I suggest you attempt to go back into services while in safe mode and reset them back to default. Possibly the list you have posted of errors will then be smaller.

    and safe mode does xp have safe mode i never seen a xp boot disk

    Service settings are just registry entries. BlackViper has registry patches to reset default XP service settings: Windows XP Service Pack 1 Services Registry Files. But I don't see a patch for SP2. To get to Safe Mode, tap the F8 key before Windows starts to load.
