    Hi,

Thanks btw for a great program. Now to my problem, i regularely create backups and then also enter a password. Yesterday some things went wrong with my pc and i needed to restore. I rebooted and acronis started just as it said it would, but when i was asked to enter my password, i couldn't! well i could, but not every character. I have a $ sign in my password, which is ALT GR + 4 on my keyboard. I can't enter the $ sign !!!!! and therefore my image (hopefully not) is useless, and aswell all my efforts to create backups! what do i do now?

I am using true image version 7

    thanks

Try typing Alt 36, or Alt 036 using numbers from your number keyboard.

    Hello gabiel,

Please try to use Shift + 4 combination.

    Thank you.

    Hi, thanks for the help!

shift + 4 worked just fine, the tricky part is that you don't see the characters you are entering when pressing the keyboard since you are supposed to be entering a password and not trying combinations of keys :)

    thanks for the help! :)
