    Regarding Ewido's new licensing model:
If I understand this right, if I purchase ver.3.0 now, I'm entitled to free sig updates for life and I can upgrade the program up to ver. 4.9 and when ver.5.0 is released then I can receive a reduced cost upgrade. That's how I understand it, please correct me if I'm wrong.

Version 3.0.. I downloaded just to test out the New version.

Actually i care a lot about MEM usage and CPU usage.... because my computer is slow enough already.

    Ups....

The ewido started to take 60%-90% of my CPU without any reason...
I had to turn off the Realtime Protection :(

Ewido 3.0 has been running great here--Cpu usage is not above normal. This is how much memory ewido consumes with everything running.

    ewidogaurd.exe 8536k
    ewidoctrl.exe 1804k

Running just fine here also and using around 13mb combined. :)

Infinity: Can you elaborate on this from a guest to you yesterday: "Initial test results can be found ... you know where ;-)", if you can what are the initial test results ? :)

On one computer I updated Ewido through the old version of the program and it appears that I have a full plus version.:D On a different computer I just downloaded the new version and its definitly the 14 day trial.

Memory consumption is right around 15Mb for me and CPU time is low.

sevengreen: this is changed now normally. as I speak now: definately changed something named: from full version to trial: immediately had to give my keyfile in. I paid for it anyway but glad it is sorted. I couldn't stand supporting them and someone receiving free stuff...if you know what I mean.

to Don: find your answers here: but do take the results in global: that means watch the other At's how they are doing...ewido is ruling...and rocking some major players from their thrones...

I knew it from the start to be honest but anyway here is the link:

I didn't suffer the CPU problem, but i also see a growing memory consumption and also an handle consumption (reaches easily 10000 handles!!!) for the guard process.

Did the guard also disappear or did it just say "Account expired"?
