The specifications for TI8 are getting to where this program should be. The execution of these specs are something else: With TI7 Build 627 inside of windows, I was able to use the "Add new disk" feature with my SATA drive and the Promise PCI adapter. With TI8, I can't. The program goes through the motions, but when you use the drive - hideous things happen. Reboots of XP, XP freeze-ups and things like that. If you prepare the drive with DD9 or Windows management, everything is fine.

There is an annoying math bug also in the calculation of time for a backup. My last backup was a total of 6.6GB and the time prediction was less than a minute. It took 25 minutes and seems to be ok.

I hope these results help you to generate a tight robust program.
