After enabling all Site Protection in Spyware Blaster 3.2, I then went to Pest Patrol's online pest scan
    http://www.pestscan.com/Scan.asp

It indcates that i have 'CWS.googleMS.3 - Hijacker' xxxtoolbar

After deleting the identified item from the registry, the Pest Patrol scan ran clean, but Spyware Baster no longer had this site protected. I re-enabled Spyware Blaster protection, but Pest Patrol scan showed it as being infected again.

I do not have this problem with any of the other protected sites, perhaps something is wrong. I have not contacted Pest Patrol.

It's another one of these famous PestPatrol False Positives...

It may have reacted to the Kill Bit SB set in the Registry, and falsely identified it as the foistware itself (Thanks for pointing out that possibility, Jan ;) )

    They're hopeless...

    Hey alan,

You may also find that it was an entry in the Restricted Sites section of SpywareBlaster that Pest Patrol was flagging as a False positive. The below link is a recent thread of a known problem with Pest Patrol and XXXtoolbar.
