SPyware Blaster Problems

Everytime I try to reload Spyware Blaster I get the following message
"This program has been damaged, possibly by a bad sector of the hard drive or a virus. Please reinstall it."


I ran Nortan Antivirus and found no viruses and nothing is wrong with my hard drive--is this a new hijacker

 

I have the same problem.

 

I am having this same problem with a customer's machine, but I have also been battling what I think is a brand new variant of CoolWebSearch. It had been evading every attempt I have made to remove, even with the CWShredder. I am almost certain that this variant is messing with the anti-spyware programs already installed on the machine, for I cannot do a live update for spywareguard either. When I find a solution, I'll post more.
