I'm running WinXP with PG and WG. My system keeps doing something totally annoying (yes I've left a message there too). It keeps putting zero byte versions of certain program files into the "My Documents\Temp" folder. The programs it has done this to so far are helpctr.exe, mmc.exe and point32.exe. I have to go into Safe Mode to delete them so the system will see the proper versions. Once deleted they will stay gone for a few days. With the exception of helpctr.exe; it comes back immediately. I haven't been able to use help for some time. I'm running all the whos-who of security PRGs that we all do, and no other problems detected. Any ideas?

    Moore,

Thanks for your response and those links. They, and the links they contain, have a wealth of info on a couple of different issues that I find invaluable. Very helpful, thanks! :D
