    Are these:
    1. legal?
    2. effective?

On-demand scans of malware packs with Tiranium are sometimes done at malwaretips.com.

I won't link to the programs here. The home page is in the third set of 10 links when doing the product name search in Google (for me anyway); click "Télécharger" tab for downloads.

I tried Tiranium AntiVirus Cloud Scanner in a virtual machine. It took maybe two seconds per file scanned.

Tiranium is different from Titanium - not the Trend Micro products.

I too noticed this at malwaretips. Someone posts detection results for the pack uploaded there. And I have noticed that the results posted there are highly impressive, almost all the time.

I guess there is no english version, right?
Does it have realtime protection or its only ondemand?

I tried the cloud scanner. Its interface is in English and is an on-demand scanner only, I believe. I didn't try the regular antivirus; apparently the regular antivirus uses Sandboxie somehow.

    What is the official site?
Given the impressive results at malwaretips, I hope its not FPs prone.
Can you scan the system with this?

I think you could scan a whole system with the cloud scanner, but it might take ages given the speeds I experienced. I don't know about the regular antivirus.

    Download location is:
    tiranium-antivirus . olympe . in / telecharger.html

I put additional spaces in between each part as a warning since I don't know if this is a safe product to use or not.

It includes Sandboxie? Under "programs that will be installed", it shows the icon.

    Yes, it does.

"Another important asset, you do not need to uninstall your current antivirus because Tiranium can work with more than 30 popular antivirus."

    From the web-site.

MalwareTips readers way ahead of Wilders folks on this.
Tiranium has notified Bitdefender about it's blocking, maybe Bitdefender folks are a bit envious?

I'm currently using their AV. It's still in development, buggy and unstable but they are making great efforts to improve. The support team works well, quickly and politely.
I was told that Sandboxie is install for Heur Analysing. It's free liense.
There is also a review of Tiranium in Malwaretips forum recently.
Tiranium works well with most other AVs, but they don't play nice with this new comer. The Develop team has reported these FPs but most of them seem not concern about the report.
I really like its detection rate and the way the support team take care of their customers. The product is also free, though sometimes it prompts me for donate.

I do not see the Tiranium Antivirus Free 2014 from the links you provided. Just the regular download? So can you explain how to get the free version??

By the way I can not find anything about it in the google and other search engines? All the results are for trendmicro titaniumo_O?

    It's the same download.

    http://tiranium-antivirus.olympe.in/download.html

They are asking for donation money.

"We pay monthly to our servers from our pockets, if you could help us by donating money to us and we will bring you a maxmized protection with our Tiranium Premium Security. Your money will help us to keep our software a live.

Thank you very much. Your purchase will help us a lot nad we appreciate that!"'

I also downloaded Tiranium Cloud Scanner.

"Try our cloud scanner, fast and efficient, and portable without installation! "

Here is the download link, please note that it's still in development and buggy.

This is a new comer AVs, it's just introduced at Malwaretips and developed by a small team, so it may be difficult to find it by search engines. For more information I suggest visiting there.

    Thanks.

    Tiranium Antivirus Fun Facts:

1). It is NOT a rogue.
2). It is NOT the same as Titanium from Trend Micro
3). It IS early in its development
4). Detection of Malware via definitions IS very good
5). the ability to clean previously infected systems ISN'T so good
6). If your resident security application detects either Tiranium and/or its Website as malicious, could be time to switch, because (see Item 1).

Are the detections mostly file reputation detections, or definition detections?
