    Well, it does begin with the words "This is from a 1999 report"...so you tell me. I guess you'd have to define "new".

    "Back Orifice" :cool: I love that guy.

    He does make great points. Although, the story claims "Microsoft's developers had failed to remove or 'strip' the debugging symbols used to test this software before they released it," so the idea is that "anyone with a debugger" shouldn't have been able to see that label, save for a mistake.

    But based on the overall case he made, that's a moot point.

    Ironically though, his debunking of it (and explaining all the considerably easy ways NSA could compromise Windows) actually kind of made me even more concerned than before.
