I am considering adding a VPN to one or more of my PC's.

Does a VPN logon application need to be Sandboxed in order to maintain security?

Are there any special changes that need to be made to Sandboxie's configuration to allow the VPN to function properly? I currently have Internet Access and Start/Run Access Restrictions in Sandboxie. I also have Drop Rights enabled.

    Thanks in Advance.

I've used a number of VPNs over the years and never needed to do anything special with SBIE.

Not really sure why you'd want to sandbox the VPN client but you could try it and see.

    Cheers

I used Ghost VPN for a while and didn't have it sandboxed. I don't think that the process needs to be sandboxed. The VPN is just using an encypted network to filter network traffic.
